ASC Super Nationals will take place on January 28-29, 2023 at the Oklahoma Convention Center located at 100 Mick Cornett Drive in Oklahoma City, OK.
Teams attending this event: Fiercelings, Funky, Fuel, Fiesta, Fantasy, Force, Flawless, Fab 4, Fresh, Fearless, Fierce Five.
Buses will depart from KC Cheer at 12:00 noon, Friday, Jan. 27th. Please make sure you are on the bus and ready to go at 11:45a.m. as we can NOT hold the buses for you if you're late. Please carpool as much as possible or have someone drop you off. Parking in the street is not allowed and do not park in front of other business or their garage doors. You are welcome to park in front or back of KC Cheer. Buses will load in back parking lot of the gym. Do not block traffic in the back parking lot! The BUSES NEED ROOM to navigate. There will be 10 buses, so please be cautious entering and exiting the parking lot.
Cheerleaders should wear comfortable clothes on the bus. Please remember the first two seats (across from each other) are reserved for the coaches….Thank you!
The buses will stop for a drivers breaks only. Cheerleaders will not be allowed off the bus at drivers breaks. and should eat lunch before loading the bus. Drinks and snacks are welcome on the bus, but MUST have drinks w/twist on caps. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE clean up after yourselves! All trash must be picked up before you get off the bus. You must share seats if necessary, the only exception to this is if you paid for a double seat. The buses will stop at each of the following hotels upon our arrival in OKC: Wyndham Grand, Residence Inn Bricktown, Courtyard by Marriott, Omni OKC and the Sheraton OKC. Make sure your athlete knows which hotel they are staying at. If you are not staying at one of the hotels listed, please make plans to pick your athlete up at another location (hotel)
Coaches are staying at the Omni so athletes will need to meet their parent or chaperone when they arrive at their hotel. Athletes are not permitted to check into the hotel room without an adult. Athletes and parents will be on their own Friday evening. Do not leave items on the bus on Friday afternoon. Five of our ten buses will be going home on Saturday morning and they will take anything left behind with them!
KC Cheer has a team room in the convention center. The Room number is 209A. Please understand that teams will be using this room throughout the weekend for a meeting place and any practices we need. Parents will be asked to leave the room while in use by teams for warm-up. Do NOT leave your valuables in this room as it will NOT be locked.
Athletes are responsible to get themselves to the convention center on time to meet their coach in the Team Room. Athletes should bring everything they need with them for the day to the convention center. Be sure you have your own water bottle.
Athlete attire:
Saturday: White Bow (if your team received it) and Grey Sponsor Shirt
Sunday: Red Bow and Gym Jersey
If your team did not receive their WHITE BOW, you will wear the Red Bow both days.
Fearless - Saturday Red uniform/ Sunday white uniform
Fierce 5 - Saturday Black uniform/ Sunday white uniform
All team members should be in warm up jacket with sponsor shirt or jersey and black pants when not in uniform both days.
Awards attire - Athletes MUST be in uniform for awards
Rules & Requirements of Cheerleaders:
Hotel Curfew is 10:00 pm. Lights out in your room no later than 11:00, preferably 10:30. Parents please help us monitor the athletes so that they are prepared to compete both days. If cheerleaders do not adhere to this rule, their team will have consequences imposed upon them.
All Cheerleaders should make sure they have their phones with them as Team Parents will be sending a Band messages notifying every one of any last minute instructions (changes to practice times, etc.)
Please adhere to the schedule given to the cheerleaders. ALL team members are required to be at ALL KC Cheer performances!
NO swimming in the hotel pool for KC Cheer team members during the competition. You are free to swim on Sunday night after awards if you are staying.
Please do not allow your child to travel between the Hotel and Convention center alone.
Hotel check out is 11:00 am on Sunday, make sure your cheerleader takes ALL of her needed items with her in the morning on Sunday to the arenas.
Buses will be stopping at hotels between 8:00 am - 9:00 am Sunday morning to load luggage for those riding home. Please be in the lobby with your belongings when your bus arrives.
The buses will be leaving in shifts as follows:
Fiercelings & Funky will load their bus (#1) and return home after the 1pm awards.
Fantasy & Fuel (Bus #2), Force & Fab (Bus #3) and Fearless & Fierce Five (Bus #4) will load their bus for their return trip after the 6pm awards ceremony.
Fiesta, Fresh & Flawless (Bus #5) will load their bus for their return trip after the 7:15 pm awards ceremony.
All athletes, except Fiercelings and Funky, will stay for ALL KC CHEER PERFORMANCES.
Your team buses will be marked with team names on the way down and with numbers on the return trip.
We will NOT be stopping for food on the return trip, so please plan for this. (Drinks & Snacks)

We would like to have full Gym Support all our teams! Please do not schedule any “outings” during the competition. Part of being a good team member is supporting all our KC Cheer teams! Bring your loud voices, noise makers and CHEER ON all our athletes!
Athletes are required to watch and support all KC Cheer teams. Unless your team is meeting during another team performance you MUST be in the arena watching. Use your time wisely to get ready before or after other team performances. (Fiercelings and Funky may leave at 3:30 on Saturday if necessary)
Athletes should expect to have a team meeting &/or practice after they compete on Saturday. Coaches will communicate this information via band after receiving scoresheets on Saturday.

ASC will provide a Spectator viewing area. Please enter the viewing area on the right side of the judging riser when the team you are supporting is going on the floor, and exit to the main spectator seating once the team is finished. There will be staff present to guide spectators into the viewing area.
Spectator tickets will only be sold at the event - CASH ONLY
Tickets will be sold on Friday from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, all day Saturday and Sunday beginning at 7:00 a.m.
