SHOW YOUR SPIRIT AND SPORTSMANSHIP!
KC Cheer is so excited to have a quality competition in our hometown! We hope that all of our Cheerleaders, Parents and Fans will rally together and show everyone what a HOMETOWN CROWD looks like! We have a GREAT cheer for all fans to chant each time a KC Cheer team takes the floor…Please help us yell it out! Please support ALL our TEAMS! Avoid video recording, and just standing and watching. CHEER LOUDLY!
All of you noticed Central Jersey Allstars in OKC. They made a statement every time any of their teams took the floor. EVERY Single parent and athlete was on their feet yelling and clapping. Your athletes appreciate your support!
Dress in KC Cheer Gear - Lots of great options available at the gym! And RED KINGDOM SHIRT ON SUNDAY!
Sit in a Group of KC Cheer FANS. GO DOWN TO THE FLOOR AND BE LOUD! PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND USE YOUR VOICE, YOUR THUNDERSTICKS, SHAKER NOISE MAKERS AND YOUR HANDS TO LIGHT UP THE ARENA!
We will have a designated videographer so you will get to see your teams video shortly after their performance. Watch the performance LIVE and ENJOY THE MOMENT. SAY THE CHANT WITH US! Help get your athletes excited to compete. Watch for the video where you can join in a part of the music for each team.
Everyone please remember that you are representing KC Cheer at each event. Win or lose, good performance or not so great, we are ONE TEAM AND ONE FAMILY. Be kind to other teams, wish them luck and always be respectful of the judge’s decisions.
Lastly, parents, your biggest job is to support your cheerleader! Be excited when they are excited, wipe their tears if they are sad and above all remember this is a TEAM. We do not point fingers or place blame. We look for the positive in each and every performance, whether it’s a lesson learned or a Magical Moment. Remember what you say and do has a lot to do with how your cheerleader reacts. Let the coaches do the coaching.
