We're excited to kick off our season with the KC Cheer Spirit Spectacular! The Showcase is on Sunday, November 5 at Olathe South High School. Doors will open for spectators at 11:30 a.m., with the first performance starting at 1:00 p.m.

There will be food, vendors, team baskets and lots of shopping with the newest KC Cheer spirit wear available before and during the showcase. We hope everyone will come out and support our teams as they take the floor for their first performances of the 2017-2018 season.

Team Pictures & Extra Practice -UPDATED 11/1/2017

All teams will be having extra practices and team pictures on Friday, November 3 and Saturday, November 4. Athletes should be dressed in full hair, makeup (arriving week of) and uniform for team pictures. Pictures will be taken in the Arena and all practices will be held in the main gym.

We will be handing out bows and make-up this week and at extra practice. Please see the application instructions in order to apply makeup. We will start with team pictures in each session. We cannot wait on cheerleaders who are late.

Makeup and Hair

We will be holding makeup demonstrations on Wednesday, November 1 at 4:30 and 6:30. There will also be a Lash bar. Wink will be selling the reusable lashes and showing us how to apply!

Day of the event

Team members should arrive dressed and ready to go AT LEAST 1 hour prior (Firecrackers and Flippers only need to arrive 30 minutes) to your performance time (see performance order listed below). Coaches will meet teams outside gym entrance doors one hour prior to performance time. At this time, athletes should have hair completely up, makeup and shoes on, warmup clothes off, and no bags or cell phones with them.

Everyone will wear the red tail-less bow, with the exception of Firecrackers, Flippers and Fiercelings who will be in the white bow.

We encourage all athletes to stay and support all teams throughout the day! Let's start the season off right by showing our KC Cheer Spirit!

There will be a gym-wide photo after the last performance on Sunday at approximately 5:00 p.m.
