Please Plan To Arrive Early—Great Planning Is The Key To A Wonderful Experience!

The Gaylord Opryland is a sight to behold—truly one of the most beautiful hotel properties you will ever see. But it is tremendously large and complex to navigate—especially for folks that are experiencing the property for the very first time. The competitions spaces span three floors and there are four competition arenas for this event. In addition, the parking areas are a 15 minute walk or a five minute shuttle ride to the hotel—and once inside the hotel, it will take 20-30 minutes to get your bearings. Suggestion: plan to arrive on property a full hour before you think you need to arrive.

Parking For Those Commuting To The Gaylord Each Day (staying at hotels other than the Gaylord)

Here is a map showing commuter parking areas: https://www.varsity.com/ou/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/OU_ParkingMap_Commuters_23.pdf.  Follow GPS directions to get to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. You will approach the property on McGavock Pike. Follow the road marquees and signage (red line on map) to enter into the commuter lots that are highlighted red on the map ($20 per day—cash only). Shuttle buses (look for Grayline brand buses) will take commuters from the lots and drop them off at the Delta Portico. To catch the shuttle bus back to your car, you will go to the same location (Delta Portico) where you were dropped off.  You may choose to walk back and forth to and from the hotel from the parking areas—if you choose this option, please plan for about 15 minutes each way.

Athlete Dropoff at Presidential Portico

You can follow the blue dotted line on the map for athlete drop off. Once drop off is complete, the driver must exit the property and follow the red line shown on the map to commuter parking. The driver can then take the shuttle described in the previous section.
