Fierce Five, Fearless & Fresh will be competing at UCA’s International All Star Championship in Orlando on March 12-13, 2022.
It’s almost time to head to Florida for the International All Star Championship! All cheerleaders should arrive at Disney’s All Star Resort Music on Friday, March 11th. There are many still a few Covid Restrictions in place so please read through all the UCA information you have received. Masks will be required in some areas. Everyone traveling and staying at the team hotel should have received emails to schedule a time to pick up park tickets and ESPN entry tickets.
KC Cheer is only taking 3 teams to UCA so we are counting on you all to support every team. Our athletes are counting on YOU to make some noise!
Friday:
All teams will be practicing Friday at ESPN. Transportation is not provided. Please plan to meet your coach at times listed below to begin practices. All teams should be dressed in the team practice wear. Do NOT forget your KC Cheer mask! If you don’t have one get one TODAY!
Practices will be as follows:
Fearless Meet at ESPN 3:45 - Practice 4:20
Fierce 5 - Meet ESPN 3:45 Practice 4:20
Fresh - Meet ESPN 6:30 - Practice 7:00
All cheerleaders are required to be in their room at 10:30 and lights out at 11:00 on Friday and Saturday Night. We understand that there are many fun things to do at Disney, however, we are there to compete and need to be 100% ready!
Saturday:
Remember you must have your Lanyard and park hopper pass to get on the bus and into ESPN. Your BLUE name tag is your entry. If you are a Commuter you will not be allowed on the bus to the event.

Fresh - Program uniform & white bow
Please be sure to have your designated team tank over your uniform when not in the practice room or performing! You are not allowed to walk around any parks without a t-shirt over your crop top.
ALL teams are competing at ESPN Fieldhouse.
Fierce 5 And Fresh - need to load the bus at 11:15 to come over to watch Fearless.
**Fierce 5 please plan accordingly. Time between watching Fearless and getting back to the hotel will be limited which means you may need to be somewhat ready prior to going over to watch Fearless.
After all performances on Saturday, coaches will meet teams to discuss standings and to practice if necessary. Cheerleaders should be sure they have practice wear with them when they come over to ESPN. Practices will take place at ESPN in the down time.

Please remember we are counting on TEAM MEMBERS to be responsible and on time to each performance! Everyone needs to be aware of the schedule so that coaches are not looking for team members when it is time to meet. We want everyone to enjoy their time at Disney, but do not forget that we are here to compete, and all cheerleaders MUST follow the rules and curfew! If cheerleaders are not in their room at curfew they will not compete the next day.

SPECTATOR INFORMATION
After checking in at the front desk, ONE PERSON, the contact person on your registration/invoice, should head to registration with the Varsity Spirit Staff at the Varsity Registration Tent at your confirmed registration time. This is located in front of Celebrity Hall between Music and Sports Resort. You should have already received an email notification with information on what you need to bring and how to reserve your check-in appointment time. To ensure that everything runs smoothy, please do not arrive to your check-in time more than 15 minutes early. Just a reminder that once you are paid in full, you should receive your Theme Park ticket numbers via email. You do not have to check in with us before you go to the theme parks since you already have your ticket numbers. For more information, please see the information later in this letter about Theme Park tickets.
Friends and Family that are on the hotel travel package that registered separately from the team, will need to sign up for a registration time to receive their event lanyards, Friday night Extended Hours wristband and Celebration Party wristbands. The contact person for the invoice will need to make the reservation. Just a reminder that masks are required inside the registration tent for those not fully vaccinated. If any friends/family only bought Park Hopper tickets from Varsity, they do not need to check in with Varsity nor schedule a registration time. They should have already received their park ticket numbers via email once they paid in full. If anyone only purchased Celebration Party tickets or extra meal vouchers, they can pick those up at Celebrity Hall during registration hours. They do not need an appointment to pick them up. Registration times are listed below, again you MUST have an appointment to enter Registration:
Wednesday, March 9th: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Thursday, March 10th: 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
Friday, March 11th: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
** If you are delayed in your arrival and cannot make your check-in appointment time at registration, please come to Celebrity Hall during scheduled registration hours to reschedule your appointment.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation to and from the airport is not included in the Hotel Travel Package. If you are interested in booking transportation through Mears Connect, rates are $14 per person each way or $28 round trip. This is a $2 per person each way discount or $4 Round trip from regular Mears Connect pricing. If you would like to book transportation through Mears Connect, please click HERE. If you have already booked through Mears and wish to take advantage of this discount, you must cancel your reservation and rebook using the link above. You can cancel your reservation by emailing ConnectGroup@mears.com. You can book transportation through whoever you wish but wanted to offer Mears Connect as an option.
COMPETITION VENUES
This year's competitions will take place at the Arena, the Field House and the Visa Center at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Admission into ESPN Wide World of Sports is included only for those on the UCA hotel travel package AND anyone purchasing Disney tickets from Varsity Spirit. Anyone else needing to purchase tickets into ESPN Wide World of Sports can CLICK HERE to purchase them for $40 per day. Please pre-purchase these online prior to arriving in Orlando. Once you purchase your ticket online, you will receive an email from ESPN Wide World of Sports with your tickets. When you arrive at the Sports Complex, you will show your ticket barcode to enter.
Premium Parking is available for those who would like to purchase from ESPN Wide World of Sports. To purchase a premium parking spot at the complex prior to arriving at the event, CLICK HERE. Space is limited and will be available for purchase until 03/11/2022 at 4:00 EST. Free parking will still be available as well.
WALT DISNEY WORLD TICKETS - VERY IMPORTANT
Once you are paid in full, about 7-10 business days after, you will receive an email from Varsity Spirit with your theme park ticket numbers for each person on your invoice. You will then need to complete the steps below to enter ESPN Wide World of Sports or any Theme Park. If you have paid in full and have not received your ticket number email, please contact your Registration Specialist. If you do not complete the steps below, it could delay you and your team getting into ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. You will not receive hard tickets when you arrive in Orlando, everything will be mobile this year. Ticket Linking and Park Reservations If you have not done so already, download the MyDisney Experience app to link your theme park tickets and make a park reservation. As a reminder, we highly recommend that Guests make their theme park reservations as soon as they receive their ticket confirmations, as park availability can change and is limited. If you are not planning to visit a theme park during your visit, you still must link your tickets through your MyDisney Experience app to gain access to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. No Park reservation is required to enter the Sports Complex. Coaches, if you are meeting your team at ESPN Wide World of Sports, we ask that you meet them once inside the ESPN Wide World of Sports entrance in the grass area to the left once you enter the Complex.
