ATHLETE INFORMATION

We are very excited to be taking these teams to CSG this weekend. We appreciate you all pulling together and adding this trip after Vegas was canceled. I know it is going to be a great experience for these Worlds athletes!

Here are a few details:

Buses will leave KC Cheer at 11:00 am on Friday. We will probably make a quick stop along the drive, but would recommend athletes bring “lunch” or eat before loading the bus. Since it is just the 2 Worlds teams traveling we have a little more flexibility on this trip.

The teams are staying at 2 separate hotels. (The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg & The Sheraton Elk Grove) Coaches will be staying at Hyatt Regency.

We will have the buses available to drive teams and parents to the competition each day. Parents: If you want to ride the bus to and from the Convention Center please email Mary at mary@kccheer.com

Expect very cold temperatures.

Important information about masking and vaccination requirements has been posted in your team band and in the Spectator Information below. Please look over this so no one is caught off guard. Everyone will be required to be masked at the competition. Athletes will not have to warm up or compete in a mask but must be masked otherwise. Please be prepared and compliant.

Athletes and Parents - WE NEED YOU TO CHEER ON BOTH TEAMS!! Athletes will be required to be at each performance. We need to HEAR you. Stand up, Yell, Clap, Noise makers whatever but don’t just stand there!
