We are excited to kick off our 2021-2022 competition season with our first competition this weekend. At this competition our athletes will perform by Program. Please be sure to read through the information. There is not a limit on spectators per athlete, however they ask that our spectators limit attendance to KC Cheer teams.

Below please find the general information for Rockstar’s KC Classic being held at the Hy Vee Arena located at 1800 Genessee Street, KCMO on Sunday, November 14, 2021.

Spectator Information

Spectators 5 & under are Free
Kids 6-12, seniors 65+, military are $10
All other Spectators are $15
There is not a limit on spectators per athlete, however, we ask that spectators limit their attendance to KC Cheer’s team performances.
No outside food or drink will be allowed (except water bottles for athletes)
Athletes should bring a personal bottle of water to the event for their own use. Additional bottles of water will be for sale, but not provided.
Spectators will be required to wear masks while inside the facility.

Athlete Information

Athletes will not be required to wear a mask while warming up or performing but will need to wear a mask at all other times in the venue. If you do not have a KC Cheer mask, please purchase one at the gym today. Athletes should all have a KC Cheer mask for all competitions. Please have your name marked in the mask and a bag to put the mask in so your coach can collect them prior to competing.
Virtual Awards will be held on Rockstar Social Media following each session and 1 representative for each team will be asked to pick up award banners from the designated awards area. Athletes will receive their medal immediately following their performance when exiting the floor.
Athletes should arrive at the competition dressed and ready to compete. Coaches will meet their team near the front athlete entrance at the times listed below. Athletes should have backpack and water bottle when they meet their coach. Warm up Jackets & pants over the uniform. (pants are only necessary if it’s cold). All Senior level teams must wear their warm up jacket over the uniform top at all times while not competing. (no midriffs allowed to show)
PLEASE BE ON TIME! check in times are not held if you are late.
Athletes are welcome to leave after they meet their coach following their performance. However, since there is not a limit on spectators during our Program session we hope that athletes will stay to cheer on all KC Cheer teams! Let’s take advantage of this in person event and give our athlete all of our support! Put down your phone and CHEER ON OUR TEAMS!
